Hi there, I always thought if women or mothers have post partum depressions. I have a friend who is having tough times controlling her temper. She gave birth one year ago and that's when it all started, the mood swings and all. I want to help her seek some advice. Thanks

My wife will give birth in next week. I'm very afraid that she will have post partum depression. But I have heard that if the women give the second birth, the post partum depression will go away, or else will stay for some ten years. Some of my colleagues said that having more happy s-e-x life will alleviate it. I don't know whether it is efficient.

Hi nathalie, welcome to mylot. Many women have this after give birth. But one year is a long time. She must go to the doctor and ask for help. Maybe she is only tired because a new baby is a 24 hours work and all this change our life. She has post partum depression (perhaps) and all this work at the same time so she becames tired and irritated. Better go see the doctor and he can give the better advice. Maybe only a calmative solve the problem. Cheers and have a good day.
