Can ugly people make money online?

Hey I was just over at Myspace and someone asked the question "Can ugly people make money online"? So I started thinking hmmm Can ugly people really make money online? I really don't see why not, but maybe some people may think differently. What are your thoughts on this?

Well, first off, nobody can see if you are ugly or beautiful through this computer. And, being ugly has absolutely nothing to do with making money. It's how smart you are and how you apply what you know. Anyone with any looks should be able to make money if they apply themselves online. That is like asking "Can I make money in my pajamas?" Sounds silly, doesn't it.

Yup it does sound silly...most people don't even care how you others look online. All they care about is what you know. The World Wide Web has leveled the playing field. Interesting feedback.

LOL, I don't think it takes beauty to make money online, wel, mabye if you post your picture as an avatar, but still, everyone can make money on-line. I don't think anyone could enter someone's house and check if they are beautiful enough to be making money online.

Ironic question. But here's my two cents about this topic.First, ugly people are normal human being just like you and me. The have less in physical beauty but they can be smarter and caring. Of course they can earn online. This world is open for
everyone.

I use to be Ugly too but you know what? The more money I make the more attractive I seem to get ...at least that's what the ladies tell me LOL

I think anyone with a little computer skill can make money online, and I'm sure it matters not at all what you look like. I myself am not an ugly person, at least I don't think I am, but I do take horrible pictures, and therefor never show myself on any of my online sites! I may scare away business for myself!

I thought that that sounded familiar but to be honest I am not sure whether or not I have read that over on myspace or not. I don't think that their is any problem with the way a person looks online, unless of course like the first responder had said, they are required to be seen on a web cam!

I definitely agree. You bring up an interesting point tho about certain lines of work requiring one to be beautiful. I never really thought about it like that. But then again what is beautiful? That's really in the eye of the beholder.

I don't see why not. Working online usually doesn't require you to post a photo so no one ever knows what you look like. Also I think some people use a photo of someone they find attractive like a celebrity or model as their pic if they don't feel comfortable with they way they look.
I personally consider myself to be attractive and well I don't see how that is helping me make money online or in the real world either...

I don't see why not either. And you bring up another interesting point about people using other peoples photos. Some people actually steal photos and say it's really them...especially with the online dating thing LOL

I think that is kinda a ridiculous question but it does make sense. I hope it is not to bring other people down. I don agree with you, there is no reason why not-so-goodlooking people cannot make money online unless they have to show their faces. But if they're smart enough then I'm sure they'll go a long way.

Yeah it is a ridiculous question - but as you said it does make sense - it makes you stop and think for a moment. And I never said they couldn't if you go back and read what I wrote. Thanks for your comment.
