In your home, in your relationship, who is the problem solver? In my house, I am normally the one who everybody looks to to solve the problems. Whether it is a financial problem, a schedule problem, a conflict among the kids, almost any problem we have, the family really relies on me to solve it. I try to discuss things with my husband, because I feel that his input is just as important as moine, but more often than not, his rtesponse is, "Whatever you think is best, honey, you know what needs done better than me." Okay, it is nice to hear that once in a while, but normally, I really do want to know his opinion and what he thinks should be done. I want my kids to try to calmly settle their own disputes. I don't mind being the one everyone goes to, but I would really like for them to do a bit more on their own. So, in your home, in your relationship, who is the problem solver?

In my point of veiw, everyone should solve their problems by themselves, but I am glad to give my advice to them whenever people want a talk. I don't think I am the problem solver, people around me are mature enough to solve problems themselves. Good day! Happy myLotting:))

I do not have kids yet, but between my fiance and myself we actually do problem solve together. Now in the end sometimes I end having to make the final decision but we discuss the situation out together. Now as far as my mom and my sister they tend to turn to my for advise but thats all they are looking for advise and they make thier own decisions. Which is usually totally oposite of what I suggest. Which then poses the question, why bother asking me?
