yesterday at 12 noon, a rap legend here in the philippines died, he was diagnosed last august of 2008 with leukemia, and he has undergone treatments such as chemotheraphy and bone marrow transplant, just when we all think that he's gonna be okay, he died! Francis Magalona, the man who started rap here, is dead....his wife, pia was so calm about it, she said it's because francis has changed so many lives and helped so many people, she was so calm and composed, and she said it's because their whole family was ready for whatever will happen to him, that francis lived a full life and he, himself was ready to face our creator. when we found out that he died, we were devastated, although we were just an avid fan, we didn't expect that he'll go just like that. As his friends will say, he is a great man, he is a ball of light, his positive outlook in life showed in his photos in his multiply account, where you can see that although he's huerting from all the theraphy that he's having, he's still smiling and wants to show the world that he is trying all his might to seem happy and positive... now, i am sharing this to all of you to let you know that the filipinos are hurting to lose a great man, an artist and an inspiration to all of us, as he said, he wants to philippinize the whole world, he wants to show the world how great the filipinos are and how talented and caring we are. let's us all pray for the repose of his soul, even though we, filipinos, know that he's now in good hands, he's done good in his life on earth, i am pretty sure that he is now at peace and he will never feel any pain now, and i'm thankful for that. now we can smile and say that he's over physical pain and he's happy looking over those who love him.....
