hi all! my husband's work schedule is different this month. his gets off duty at 9pm, but sometimes his last call takes a long time and so he comes home a few minutes later. he can't exactly go out at 9pm sharp. anyway, when he gets off, he sends me a text message that he is on his way. with that, i set out his meal and i would take a bath and light the aromatherapy burner in the room and turn on the aircon. i would like our room to be very welcoming for him. i also tell baby in the womb that her papa is coming and she would move around and wait until her papa arrives. then when my husband has finished eating, we would lie down and talk in the bedroom and then while we are talking baby would continue moving, as if taking part in the conversation. hihihi i am just so excited with the family that we are starting. well, i just thought i wanted to share this story with you. take care all and God bless you! happy mylotting! :D

Hello spoiled311! I envy you because your relationship with your husband seems very smooth. You seem like a very sweet couple. I am very excited to finally be with my husband now. We are away because I can't go there with him because we still have to apply a visa to go at his place.

It is a wonderful feeling to be with the one you love after being separated because you have to wait for your visa. I had to wait a year and I can tell you it is worth the wait. I am presently a fulltime housewife and it can be very lonely but knowing my hubby will be home soon still makes me feel excited. I keep it a point to take care of everything, cook his dinner, keep the house clean and of course, keep myself pretty. Good luck and I hope you get to be together soon.

Congratulations on your baby! It must be so exciting to be starting a family together! I get really excited when I know that my husband is coming home also. He usually calls me when he is leaving work, because he pretty much just has to stay at work until everything is finished, so we never know when it will be. I usually try to have dinner mostly ready in advance, and then when he calls me, then I pop it in the oven so that it is just ready to come out when he gets home! Soon, he will be going out of the country for a year, so we won't be able to see each other for a long time, and I want to make sure that we are able to have nice times like this before he leaves. We are also hoping to start a family after he returns from overseas next year! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, and congrats!

Awww...this brings back such great memories for me. When I was pregnant with my son who is now 21 years old, he was a very active little baby in the womb. But after his daddy came home from work and we would lay down at night, I would lay with my tummy up next to Mike's back and James would lightly massage with his feet for a few minutes and then he would go to sleep. It never failed, he wouldn't settle down until Mike was home and we were all in bed. His family was complete then.

My husband works about 50 hours a week. Usually he works until 7 or 9pm most nights, except Saturday he works until 2 or 5. I have 5 kids ranging in age from 1 to 11. Most days I do count down the hours until my husband gets home, mostly it's because I'm looking forward to having his help with the kids, sometimes it's just because I'm bored and need someone to talk to.

That sounds like a nice little story and I wish you the best of luck with your new arrival. These are going to be the happiest times for you and your husband so enjoy each moment as it comes. My husband works and sometimes he does get home late. I am happy to see him as well as my son is. Take care and good luck.

Hello spoiled311... it is great to know you are starting off in a positive note. You are a lucky one and I guess I am lucky too starting anew with my present husband. I have been divroced for almost 10 years and I made a promise to myself that if I found a special guy, I will take good care of him. This is the reason I still get excited when my hubby is about to come home from work. He is by the door by 5 pm everyday so I start fixing his dinner by 4pm, check the house and make sure everything is clean and in order. And of course, it is time to take a quick shower and put some light makeup on. I guess he appreciates these things I do because he seem very happy and excited as well. There is always a smile for me as soon as I open the door. Keep up the good work, marriage can be a wonderful thing. Stay happy!

I know how you feel. My husband works from 10am to 9pm 6 days a week. I hardly ever see him. We just started our family and have a 7 week old daughter. But whenever I get to go to his work and see him, or when it's time for him to come home-I just get super excited!

yeah I'm happy when my husband comes home from work. I miss him when he is gone and it's so nice to see him after he had a long day at work. I make him a wonderful dinner and give him a back massage. I love him very much!

My husband works from about 6am till anywhere between 3pm and 6pm so I never really know when he will be home...I do get excited (sometimes more than others depending on my day) when he comes home. Congrats on the growing family! Babies are a wonderful addition! They make life interesting....to say the least :)
