farewell to Francis M

I am out of the country and make it a point to check the country's news everyday on the internet. Yesterday there was news about Francis Magalona's death. He succumbed to organ failure due to massive septicimia. I also knew about him diagnosed to be suffering from Leukemia.
The sad thing is I knew he was still fine last Christmas and that he was scheduled for a bone marrow transplant. It was quite a shock to know he didn't win the battle.
Francis M is quite an amazing artist. I will always remember him because my children loved his music and my youngest brother is so much into his music.
Will you miss him too? And how did you take the news of his sudden death despite the hope and faith he had?

I myslf is shock when I heard about it. He is truly a lost in the industry knowing his contributions to the music industry and also to the country. He is one proud filipino and I hope many will follow his footsteps.

It is indeed a sad news to behold last Friday afternoon. It was a schock since I really felt he was already doing good in his chemotherapy sessions he had. It was not the cancer that killed him but the side effects that the medication came upon him. Too bad that we lose once again a great nationalistic singer/rapper. Well I guess from where he is right now I am pretty sure that he can finally rest in peace and the pain is gone already. Francis M I salute your bravery and patriotism to your beloved country.

Hello pixiepink! Good that you still check out what is happening in our country.
Heard the news from a friend, we were chatting and he told me the news. At first my reaction was "for real?". Because you know that a lot of news are like that and then it turns out to be not true and then he says that it was announced on Bulaga. Sad news indeed. It really was sudden cause all his family and friends said that he was fighting strong and he was scheduled to appear in the Eheads concert. He was taken too young and too soon. I just wish that he was able to say goodbye to his family and that his family have the strength to go thru such a painful time.

yeah a lot of people sad about what happened to him.Francis M is a Hero, he open the door for the Filipino rappers.. but before he left he has a message to everyone who admire him so much.
