Isn't it a great feeling when you get a bargain?

I've just been into town, and visited a few charity shops where I got a small table for £1, and two little table lamps for £2.25. I was so pleased because they were exactly what I was looking for. It's such a lovely feeling to get just the right things you are looking for a such a good price. Have you ever found a real bargain, and felt really pleased about it?

Awhile ago I was trying to find a nice sturdy bag that I could carry a lot of my teaching supplies in during internship periods and what not. I had tried for weeks to find a really nice deal and I had found a bag at Target that was listed as being about $11 but it was $30 or more I believe. Well, I decided one day to just go ahead and buy it since it was still there and what not. Well, I took it to the register to pay for it and it actually rang up to be $4! I was shocked. However, I wasn't going to complain about the excellent deal I was getting. That sort of thing does not happen very often.

That is a lovely suprise isn't it? That has happened to me once or twice - you struggle with your conscience over buying it, and then you get that lovely suprise when you go to pay!
