How to teach a dogto behave properly.??

i am an animal lover and and i am crazy about dogs but whenever i have adopted a dog i have not been able to teach them proper behaviour and that always turns out to be a nightmare for me and i have just got sick of it.So if u guys can help me and suggest me some tips or some ways of teaching a dog to behave properly.

You need to take them to dog school, most places have classes. You also need to watch the dog training shows on TV. I like Caesar's ideas myself. You can get his books and I think a DVD. It's not hard you just have to do the same thing time after time, just like you do with a small child.
