I posted one of my poems on my multiply site and wanted to see what you guys thought of it. Just a quick mention, it isn't mean to be complicated or even grammatically correct in some areas. I used my artistic license;) My happiness.. is defined by my ability to conquer my fears, ..and in enjoying the company of those I love ..in seeing the infinite wonders of this tiny speck of green and blue floating in the black expanse of space ..in knowing that in my heart of hearts, whatever I am...I am a good person ...in knowing that I can sit and look back and think, I have no regrets and bear no grudges to my own decisions ...I regret no mistakes ...I bear no ill feelings ...I remember each and ever piece of my emotion shattered in the expanse of time and space ...My happiness comes in knowing that I can and have survived and no one will take that and use it against me I consider myself happy,,,not always in the welling up of pure unbridled emotion..not in the wondrous explosion of happy hormones that so often invade the human mind ..but... also in the simplicity and contentment of me also not being content..of pushing myself to the edge to make a difference, to make it to the end of the challenge..and again, in sitting back and thinking that in the midst of all this, in the murky red depths of the neurons in my mind and the cellular fractions of cells in my heart... I am happy..

That is a nice poem. Well done! I think there is a uniqueness in your style, although this is the first of your poems I have seen, that you combine it with technical words like neurons, harmones lol. Are you a biology or physical science student by any chance? hehe. I love the way it starts, My happiness... is defined by my ability to conquer fears, and in enjoying the company of those I love; This strikes a personal chord in me as I faced the situation which demanded that I follow this line. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks Nicky. I don't normally write poems, usually articles for here and there but poetry is my passion. I'm glad to see I struck a chord. Hahaha :) I'm not a science student, however I do love science. I hope the poem helped to bring back memories that you may have forgotten or things in your personal life you have conquered.
