How often do you replace your cookware?

My husband and I think it's time to replace some of our cookware. It's probably about time too. We got married in August of 2002, and some of the handles are cracking, and stuff. Some of our stuff is starting to gather rust. When we get the money, we're going to buy some new cookware.

I guess some things are meant to last. Maybe your parents know a good thing when they see one. lol

I tend to have stuff that really seems to last, so mainly I seem to just add to them.Mainly tht's the things like sauce pans and fry pans.Trays and baking dishes do tend to get replaced more often.

We definitely need to buy some fry pans. We had three pans at one time, but two of them were scapped due to rust. Now we're down to two, and it seems like we're constantly washing it since we use it to ground our hamburger.

Hi CRSunsine, I know it's time to replace mine when it takes 45 min scrapping
and cleaning it , and it only took 30 min cooking the dinner . Thats when it's time for me to toss it and get a new pan , when everything sticks to the bottom of it .

Yes, it does sound like it's time to buy cookware. Our cookeware hasn't gotten to that extent yet. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
