Was your pregnancy pretty quiet or "loud"?

My pregnancies were pretty quiet. I didn't have any morning sickness or food cravings. I don't know that I had anything eventful happen at all in my pregnancies. I guess I had it easy. What do you think?

My pregnancy was quiet a loud one for the first 4 months. Sooooo loud that i had to leave my job only when i was two months pregnant!! Although i didnt have morning sickness...i did experience Evening sickness!!! and that was so bad that i couldnt even walk after nauseating. But after the first four months everything was quiet.

At least your sickness was only temporary. It would not be a good thing if it would have lasted the entire time. I wonder if a woman has ever rethought getting pregnant again if they've had a troublesome pregnancy.

I've had three diferent pregnancies. The firs was okay from the start, but around 16 weeks I suffered from pelvic pains (it went away after a while) When I was about 32 weeks pregnant I started ti itch a lot - it was really horrible! I suffered from the itchyness the rest of the pregnancy. The second I got huge very early (I just gained 9 kg about 20lbs the whole pregnancy - but my belly was huge)and I had all day sickness for the whole time! The third pregnancy was great - I didn't even show until I was almost 6 months pregnantand I was small all the time and felt great!

Sounds like third time was the charm in your case.

hi crsunrise! well, i wasn't so sure how to answer your question because i thought quiet and loud only pertained to labor and delivery...hehehe anyway, here is my story. i am 8 months pregnant now. during the first five months of my pregnancy, everything was quite well. i didn't really have bouts with vomiting, although i was nauseous for like 2 weeks. i did have hyperacidity around 6pm though. but everything went smoothly and i still continued to work. my weight gain was normal for the gestation. however, when i reached 5.5 months, things changed when i started feeling pain in my left flank. it turned out that a kidney stone dislodged itself and got stuck in my ureter, causing tremendous pain and stressing me and my baby. i was confined in the hospital twice in order for the pain to be managed. then i was sent home with my IV still and i had to hire a nurse just so she can administer the pain killers just in case i had the colicky pain again. after about a month and a half of limited ambulation, i had UTI and i spent some time again on vacation at my parents house. on the 7th day of my antibiotics, i was able to urinate the stone. my UTI was gone and i was back to normal. but when i started to get around, i realized how heavy i had become after having IV and not having physical activity. actually, in just 3 weeks, i gained 7 lbs. so i became overweight. the sudden weight gain was really uncomfortable and i had aches and pains all over. on my 8th month, i just sort of got used to the weight. everything was okay. but now, 38 weeks into my pregnancy, my feet and hands are swollen and my hands are really numb. but otherwise, everything is well. we just wonder when the baby will come out. i have all the signs and symptoms already, but it seems the baby is taking her sweet time. hehe maybe she likes being in there. okay, that is about it. that is a long story already. happy mylotting! :d

It does sound like your pregnancy was a little eventful. At least it's almost over, or something like that. lol

It sounds like mine were much like yours :) I never had any morning sickness, never missed any work up 'til the day I left for maternity leave. I've often said that I never felt healthier in my life than the two times I was pregnant. I didn't gain a lot of weight (20-25 lbs each time) and didn't have any real cravings. The one thing I do remember craving was a DQ Blizzard that I made my husband at the time go dashing to the restaurant to buy before it closed for the night lol Actually, with my second pregnancy, I didn't know I was pregnant until my doctor determined I was already between 12 and 16 weeks along (on preliminary examination), so I guess I really did have it easy too! Shortest pregnancy EVER LOL!

I didn't gain that much weight with both of my pregnancies, which was nice. I'm actually smaller now than I was before I got pregnant. That's always a nice thing.

I slept through my first delivery. I got an epidural and felt like I was in water cast from the chest down. They had to wake me up to deliver. Now, with my son, I tried to natural delivery, and let's say that if we have another child, I'm definitely going with the epidural. I applaud those that can do it, but I'm not sure that I can do another natural delivery. lol

Both of mine were "loud". I had horrible pregnancies with both of my children. My first pregnancy was severe pre-clampisa, doctors appointments every other day, and level 2 and 3 ultra sounds, as well as stress tests every other day, and excessive weight gain due to edema. My daughter, I had hyperermesis (excessive vomiting), severe pre-clampisa, excess swelling from edema, and I was borderline diabetic with her, started pre-term labor at 7 months and she was born a monthe early, after 31 hours of labor, via emergancy c-section because she decided after she started to crown, she didn't wanna come out, and put her little hands up and got stuck. I love my children, but I'm so glad, all thats over with and there will be no more!

Mine were pretty quiet. No food cravings, heartburn with the second, and a little bit of heartburn with my first.
