On my Shampoo and Conditioner. I decided to fly over to Edmonton to visit my sister for the weekend, do some shopping, and go to a birthday party....and make a tour of the fast food restaurants (hehe, been too long, needed fast food). As I was packing, I decided not to bring my shampoo and conditioner, or bodywash. Not thinking what my sister had in her spare bathroom. SO, as I was about to jump in the shower the first morning, in preperation of our shopping spree, I stared at the shampoo and conditioner in front of me...it was NOT my brand...I even comtemplated not washing my hair, it wasn't dirty, don't get me wrong, and since I have curly hair, and I didn't sweat much, sometimes my hair is fine with wetting and letting my natural oils do its own thing. But no, I ended up using it...and it felt good, but I still felt guilty. I don't know how I'll face my own brand when I get back home. I might avoid looking directly at it, become quiet when we're in the same room, who knows, I might ask how the weekend was when I was away....they might know that something is up, might say, well...your hair smells different, and I might break down and confess, I just hope it can forgive me. *sniffles* It will take time, but eventually, we'll be able to get back to living a normal life. Lol.

That is hilarious! You are very funny! At least you were able to use something that didn't leave your hair all dry and limp, lol. The entire experience could have been completely different. I am not loyal to any one specific brand. Sometimes you have to make do so I have a few that I can switch between if I can't get what I want.

Hehe, THANKS! I try. Yeah, I didn't use to care much about brands, especially the hair products, but Garnier is staying the winner for me, and they have many different versions and hair lotions. *Sigh* I hope they take me back! Thanks for responding and happy myLotting!

You are definitely into your shampoo! It don't bother me if I use different brands. To me they are all the same. hope your shampoo and conditioner can get over it.

Really? You don't feel a slight difference to your hair? grimier? Dryer? Puffier? More volume? Weird. I can tell all the differences... Thanks for responding and happy myLotting!

My hair is really curly and is dry anyways so nothing really makes a difference.

I think you're forgiven!!! I was happy to hear you were as close as Edmonton!!! Every summer my daughter and I do the mother daughter bonding thing and we go to Edmonton for shopping and an over night stay. I'm thinking maybe I will finally live out my dream of meeting one of my myLot people on my friends list!!! I don't know when we're going this year but if it works out maybe we could meet in Edmonton for a cup of coffee!!! WOW

Actually for the past two years we have gone to South Common and shopped there but last year we decided we were up to go somewhere different this year. Because I'm getting worse all the time for mobility we thought I might do better in a mall with my walker. My daughter has already mentioned we could go to the west end part of the city. Oh man would I love meeting you hon!!!

That would be SO cool! Do you guys stay at the West Edmonton Mall? Or do you stay clear of that place? Because my sister and I are also planning to book a night or 2 at the west ed.

I am terrible, I have no loyalty to any brand. I love to go some place that gives me a chance to try something new. But if I come home and my shampoo bottle starts giving me grief it's out of here, there are enough two and four legged persons to get on my case.

HAha! Yeah, boy did my cats miss me! AND it's FLIPPIN freezing in my house! Over the weekend the door handle on the patio broke off, so we're getting nothing but cold air coming in! I have to work on a way to plug up those holes, because we have the heat cranked up! Thanks goodness we have one of those locks on the bottom of the door too. Thanks for responding! Happy myLotting!

It's more for comedic affect, to amuse my fellow mylotters. Let's say you're having a bad day, you by chance read my story, see that it's just silly, and get a chuckle. *whispers* The shampoo WANTS you to think they can't talk! And in between the lines, the discussion topic is "Do you care if you have to use another hair product while away on vacation when you can't find your own brand?" Thanks for responding and happy myLotting!!! P.S. - Don't think everyone has "head problems" please hehe.
