I think on a subconcious level most straight guys will have a "gay fear" when it comes to their own butts. Even if we aren't fully aware of it, it's there. I have gay friends and I'm not even slightly homophobic, and yet I still have this stupid fear that I myself don't want to do something which could be considered gay. My girlfriend has tried several times to slide a finger near my butt, and I hate it. It's just way too ticklish and.... ick. I just don't like it. So for me it's those two things combined.
