Do you love your kids more than your hubby?

For those of you with children do you feel a stronger bond or love toward you're children. I have heard people say this and I in some ways do. I mean my son needs my protection and love. I think if it came down to it I would choose my child over my hubby? How do you feel about it?

I think it's only natural to love your children more than your spouse. They are part of you.

You said it. I am the same way, I do love my kids more. I mean I love hubby too but there is nothing like that special bonding with your kids and I think since they are a part of you, it makes sense.

More, No...but it is an entirely different type of love for one's spouse and one's children. I see a lot of relationships were the children are favored over the well-being of the couple, personally I disagree with that. If my husband and I take care of our relationship first and foremost, it decreases the liklihood of us ever drifting apart emotionally or physically and helps maintain our family as a whole, which directly benefits the children as well. Ideally, we teach our children and prepare them to one day leave the nest and go out into the world to have a life of their own but one's spouse is ideally for life.

Very good response. I agree that we need to nurture our marriage. I find it hard sometimes though cause if my baby needs me he comes first. I can't help it. I love him so much. I look at it as hubby can take care of himself.
