Do you love your kids more than your hubby?

For those of you with children do you feel a stronger bond or love toward you're children. I have heard people say this and I in some ways do. I mean my son needs my protection and love. I think if it came down to it I would choose my child over my hubby? How do you feel about it?

I think it's only natural to love your children more than your spouse. They are part of you.

More, No...but it is an entirely different type of love for one's spouse and one's children. I see a lot of relationships were the children are favored over the well-being of the couple, personally I disagree with that. If my husband and I take care of our relationship first and foremost, it decreases the liklihood of us ever drifting apart emotionally or physically and helps maintain our family as a whole, which directly benefits the children as well.
Ideally, we teach our children and prepare them to one day leave the nest and go out into the world to have a life of their own but one's spouse is ideally for life.

Very good response. I agree that we need to nurture our marriage. I find it hard sometimes though cause if my baby needs me he comes first. I can't help it. I love him so much. I look at it as hubby can take care of himself.

though i dont have children right now but am sure that when i have them i will love my children and my husband equally.
