25th anniversary

Hi friends June 8th is my parents 25th wedding anniversary. I want to give them a surprise gift. Any Idea how can I surprise them? I know they dont expect anything from me other than love for them from me but to make a remembrance of the day I want to give them a surprise. Give me some suggestions.

So sweet of you Chairta! You appear so concerned and sympathetic towards your parents that you are planning a surprise gift for them in advance. If possible, buy them a air tickets for a 2-3 days trip to some tourist spot. Else, you get your mother/father a new mobile phone, if they use it. All the best.

hi deepak your Idea is nice. They both have nice mobiles brought very recently. In the first suggestion I can do it but the thing is my father is having his own business and my mother owns a provision shop I dont think they both will be free for 2-3 days at the same time, and one more thing is after me and my sister born they will never go out even for a movie without taking us with them. If we force them to go out they will demand us to join with them so I think its difficult to convince them in that case.

No problem, you all can go for a trip together on their anniversary, if you can afford to spare time.
If my suggestion(s) are not feasible then you can try gifting them clothes (like Kurta Payjama or something like that to your father and a Saree to your mother.

I am lousy with gifts but I did give my mom a bunch of roses when she was still alive and she lit up like a thousand candles. She was so happy with the roses. Cheers!!

Dear Chaitra, at first i would like to congratulate your parents for their silver jubilee of marraige life. actually your parents dont expect you to get them something. but you can make them happy by giving them a warm party, nice flowers or nice cake . ok ? i hope they will like that .

I think you can make arrangements for a family get together,inviting your parent's best friends families and have a dinner with them.Or you shall arrange a surprise picnic to a nearest spot where all in your family can have a nice chat and in the end gift them what they like.Cheers!

I love your way to make something special for them ... Well how about something simple ... like a nice diner in a good restaurant and make sure you book a beautiful cake with a very small gift, it doesn't necessary to be something expensive, so the restaurant manager send both the cake and the gift to them just before finishing dinner. Oh and don't forget a sweet card. And for not being able to force them to go out by their own, I think you'll have more than a million idea, like tell them that you booked the restaurant only for two and you and your sister must go out to your friend's birthday. Or you know what, make it even more simple and do this diner at home. It' will be more comfy and family like. Happy 25th anniversary in advance.
