Ok so i have this problem with my mouse. Each time i turn on the pc, or reboot it stops working. My solution for the moment it s to unplug it and plug it back in each time. It s not a new mouse and it has no instalation software. Anyone experienced such a problem ?

Are you using a usb mouse. Maybe there is a problem in that particular port. Try plugging the mouse in a different usb port and try restarting the computer. Better if you borrow someone else's mouse and check what the problem really is.

thanks. I think i ll try with another mouse on the same port to see if it s a port problem. If not i ll just buy a mouse :)

No I didn't had such problem but maybe it is somewhere cable connection loose. Try to open the mouse and clean it with something.

I think i have a too have a similar problem. When i start my computer the mouse itself doesn't work. Then i have to shut it down then off the switch and again on my computer. Then it will work. When you unplug the mouse and plug it in does it work.I think i will try it on my system next time i face the problem.

It could be the wiring on the mouse. My daughter uses Vista and was having mouse issues and keyboard issues. When she reloaded Vista the problem went away. I would try another mouse first to see if a newer once works better.

No I haven't experience that. But the same scenario happens to my keyboard. I have same solution as well. Maybe our hardware needs to replace. What do you think?

just check out the port of your mouse by attaching any of your friends mouse in your pc, if it works fine then there is no problem with the port of the pc, becoz some times the port also goes hang, and check out the pin of the connector of mouse weather it is straight becoz some times the pin gets bend while inserting in the wrong direction.
