I believe in splurging money i earn. It is hard for me to amass money for future use. My parents keep berating me over my spending money freely. Indeed they are right but how to control oneself immediately after getting salary in hand???????

well....i'm not much of a spender....i know how to manage my money......and i do it well....i always have saved money to cater the emergencies.....i think you should also listen to what your parents say.....they're right money comes in handy in difficult situations....i've faced a lot of such situations and have been able to handle them on my own because i have money for emergency.....

I use to be a big spender. That was before i started working for my own money. When i work for what i earn i find I shop more thrifty. I guess realizing how hard it is to earn that money makes you want to be more of a saver then a spender. I also save for my son and car. I never know when i will have to buy something for my son that he absolutely needs or even buy new clothes or shoes. As for my car you have to save for oil change and transmission flush and any other stuff needed. SO I have learned to manage my money very well. And i dont go spending it on just anything.
