oh no i have no more job

i'm a seasonal worker. i called work the other day and they said they are cutting back and figuring out who to lay off. my boss is going to call everyone at the end of march to tell us who has a job and who doesn't. i'm so worried. i'm a single mother and need that job. i've been sending out other reseme's but haven't heard anything else yet either.

what field are you in? can you look for a job in landscaping or that type of seasonal (maybe a garden centre?) i dont know about where you live, but here where i live they always hire a ton more people during the summer months.

i'm in the museum field. and of course with all the government cuts in the arts and heritage there are new jobs in my line of work.

i would imagine that museums will hire people too as the influx of people generally happens during the summer. best of luck and keep me posted.

oh, I hope that everything will turn out ok for you. I have similar situation. Tomorrow my boss will tell who will be fired me or my other collegue. The other collegue is my boss's friend, so I am almost sure that this person will be me. Don't want to lose that job, not now at least. But who knows, maybe it is for the better, because everything in this life is for the best. Good luck! And I am sure that you will be fine!
