My husband has just managed to get a new shower put up a shower screen as the old shower busted. My word I am over the moon went a few weeks to save up for a new one.Having a bath is nice but takes so long, but showers wake you up ,you don't use all that much water and it is cheaper as well.Well done hubby. Is there anything you really miss because it is broken or in need of repair ,the last thing that went wrong a year ago was my micro wave,I did not think I used it much until it was gone.We saved up for a new one,and boy was I pleased to get it back you don't realise how much you use these things until they have gone.Let me know what you would really miss as well if it was suddenly not there.xx

I would miss my cookstove...we had a terrible ice storm one year, and we were out of power for a week, my cookstove is all electric so I couldn't cook anything. I did manage to cook a pot of beans and some potatoes on top of the woodstove, but after a few days that got old, we had to go into town to eat every night, it got expensive, I was so glad when our power came back on, and things got back to normal. I didn't know I would miss it so much either.
