everyone is battling the economy these days. Are you just doing without? Doing with less? With stories out there about hundreds of people applying for a few jobs money is tight. How are you dealing?

I am trying to find where we can trim. The largest area is in our going out to eat fund. We have dramatically cut down on this and I think it has significantly assisted our bottom line. Still looking at trimming down a few other optional expenses.

Well, we cut back on alot and if we didn't need it we didn't get. want is totally out of the picture right now till work picks back up. Just cause we want it doens't mean we need it..So we have also tried to make things stretch farther and do without things we don't need.

We currently aren't being affected by the economy, and haven't had to change our lifestyles due to that just yet. However, due to the fact that we've just moved, gotten a 2nd vehicle, gotten our own insurance which is quite expensive... we are going to have to get a bit more disciplined about paying our bills. Some of our bills have gone up, and we've added a couple. So I'm a little nervous about being able to afford it all. Luckily I'm already pretty good about being cheap. I spend very little at the grocery store most of the time. I can always find ways to make it work. Hubby and I just have to work on not going out to eat as often as we're used to until we know how much money we'll have left over after our bills.

We try to cut back on things. Like for instance, only use the lights when we need to, going without air conditioning or heat when we don't need it. We have the windows open today and it feels nice. We also buy groceries that are on sale and what I have coupons for and try to buy more than one to stock up on them. I don't drive too many places so that helps with gas. We may have to cut back some more because my husbands hrs have been cut back.

We all understand what is going on out there. Many people are worrying day by day. Luckily, we still survive. We have to saving some money at least, for the future sake. We also keep on optimistic on every situation. There is always a bright day to come.
