Do you believe in friendship in the job market?

A story tells that:two hedgehogs hug each other for warmth. Since they have warmed over their bodies, they will hurt each other when they are too close, but they will feel cold when they are remote, which vividly expresses the subtle relationship between people. In the job market, people would like to deal with the relationship among the leader, colleagues and clients that won't hurt and can also warm each other. Then is it possible to develop friendship in the office? Is it difficult to deal with the relationship?

It might be easy to form a friendship and a realtionship with a peer, but things might get complicated when it is among people of different levels that is between a subordinate and a boss. I think a lot of differences might arise and it wouldn't look good in front of other people as some nicities might be misunderstood for favouritism. It might also bring in troubles in relationships. Friendships between peers is also very difficult when the concept of competition is introduced. In a dog eat dog world, the relationship should logically be unhealthy. If they are in the same team and team work is the mission and essence of an organisation then, it nurtures a positive relationship between people. I think it is way too difficult to be different towards each other in the office and outside.
