These are imaginary concepts, not real. It would be more meaningful to consider that this world itself is heaven, in spite of all the sin that is going on. In fact, it is good that there is sin. Without sin, neither can there be virtue.
The belief in heaven shows man’s greed. You are not satisfied with what you have got here, so you imagine something big after death. And you cannot tolerate those disagree with your concept of God, so you imagine a hell for them to go.

I agree that heaven and hell are imaginary concepts however I differ with you on the concept of sin. The whole concept of sin is other human creation designed to complement the idea of heaven and hell.
Instead of sin there is only action and reaction. There is a balance of good and bad in the world but it bears no relationship to the idea of sin. Sin is another insidious method of control invented by man to control the behavior of others.
Heaven is a part of the fear mechanism that makes up the concept and justification of religion. A religion must provide an afterlife or it does not answer the key question that draws people to religion to begin with. Any religion that can not tell you what is going to happen to you after you die is not going to recruit many followers. Hell is the threat that forces people into following the rules set down by religion.

^_^ Howdy Frederick42!....
Greed is one of the deadly sin. There is no place for a soul in heaven but only in hell for being greedy and embracing other deadly sins.
^_^ God Bless Us! Peace! Thanks and Enjoy!.... myLot!....
