Yes, I have, like a long, long time ago. It's a very well-written piece, and it is great to read it first before watching the movies. I've read other books by Mario Puzo, but I believe Godfather is the best of the lot, although I enjoyed The Sicilian, too.

I bet I would enjoy it. I liked the movie. Funny but I've never considered reading the novel. I should read it, I'm sure I will someday. ........ too many books too little time!

Hi djemba. Yes, I have read this book and I loved. I like Mario Puzo he is a great writer. I agree that the description and expression are wonderful and we can "see" the scene. I liked the movie too but the book is the best. Have a nice day.

I read it many years ago, but can remember that I enjoyed it and thought it was very good. I might read it again.
