Are you good when remembering people names?

I'm a forgetful person, I often forget where the last time I put my key and it's only about an hour ago. But don't now why, I'm good when remembering people names. I even remember my first grade friends COMPLETE name... That's weird huh?How about you, are you good when remembering people names?

It's funny. I'm good at remembering peoples names when I think they fit their names, but sometimes when I meet someone, I think of them by a different name (weird I know). They might say 'my name is Linda' and I'll be thinking that their mum probably wanted to call them Jessie, but didn't - so then I'll forget what their name really is. I did say it was weird!

I'm the opposite of you. I'm good at remembering where things are, numbers, dates, etc. but terrible at remembering names especially people I have just met. I can remember some school teachers names and lots of my friends names from those days but I knew them for a long time and that is why they stick.

Hi Stealthy,
I hope I have a good memory to remember where I've put my things. It's very irritating to always look for my stuff, just because I forgot where the last time I put those. Well at least, you still remembering most of your friends and teachers names, that's good :)

I am so bad at remembering peoples names I put things up and for get where I have put them.I sometimes even have to pause for a moment when asked my birthday and such I am such a scatter brain really! my b/f is forever poking fun at me lol lol

just shakes his head . I keep finding myself getting more like my Mother every day .. yikes !!

Its quite natural my friend.we should have a concentration in every thing that we are doing.yup,of course there may be a lot of problems, and worries in our mind. So we,may loss the concentration in doing some silly things.it doesnt matter.For me i think i have good memory power in such things .

As soon as someone tells you their name repeat it out loud.
The next step is to imagine that person in a ridiculous situation that reminds you of their name...Lets use the name, Christopher.
The first Christopher that comes into my head is Christopher Robin. I will now imagine you hugging a big yellow bear and eating honey!

I am terrible for remembering peoples names but I never forget a face. It always happens me when I have not seen someone in a while and when I meet them again it is so embarrassing not being able to remember their name. It is always the case that they greet you by your name and all you can do is greet them back with a “hello”.
Sometimes I wish everyone I knew would wear name tags
