When I was a kid my dad used to watch martial arts films... and I've been fascinated by it... My dad trains in Judo so I was taught... Over the years I've spent my time training in this grappling/throwing/striking the (atemi wazas) art... but when I was in college I got bullied by some gang... I was able to defend myself from atleast three of them after that they left me alone for good... I thought... but I was wrong there's a fourth gang member who's scrawny looking monster... attacked me... i was able through like I said years of practice defend initial attacks... In split second everything was moving like forever... this guy was freakin' fast and brutal... he's using feet elbow knees shins punches so simple yet so powerful stikes that everywhere it hit me i'd jerk... he's coming in from almost everywhere... the school guards finally broke off the fight... Man was it brutal... I was battered and bruised I couldnt chew a solid food for a week from then on I tried incorporating the Muay Thai... And now there are variety of martial arts out there that interests me too... Should I just stick to these two arts since it incorporates both hard and soft styles Extreme striking and grappling? I've seen them both used in the UFC the MMA...

Muay Thai looks like a very aggressive sport and I think it's definitely not suitable for me. However, I have thought of learning Judo and Kendo before. I might take up Kendo soon depending on whether the school thinks that I am physically fit enough. Since there are limited spaces, I do hope I get accepted.
