I heard a few ladies talking about this? I don't think it is a good thing to do but some people do fine with it. Not me, I met my husband in the Laundry Mat. How did you meet yours? He kept giving me a lot of quarters to wash my clothes I thought Oh, he is nice Guy, and I have been with him for 14 years we are seperated for a year, but we do plan on getting back together, I just thought I would mention this. Well what acually happen I was at the Laudry Mat and he keep asking me , or giving me quarters to wash with, You can meet a Guys at the laundry mat, if you are Lucky, I did. So tell me how did you and your mate meet, even if you all are broke up now you can still till me. Ok, It is aways interested to see how a people meet.

Hey there! I met my girlfriend at our school when we were in college. I was running for student council president of our school and she was running for secretary. We both are both of the same party. She won the election but I didn't, I lost by 11 votes. We started texting each other and chatting whenever we're both not preoccupied at school. Then I started courting her. What's ironic about it is I have a rival and my rival was also my rival during the student council elections. He already know that I was courting her but he still pursued her. But this time he did not win! He was just so lucky to win the election by just 11 votes. What if the 200 reaming students, who did not vote that time, participated during the elections? I could have been a different story. I could have won that, cosidering that I presented and very well map out my platforms during the meeting de avance. There were over a thousand students in our school then. My girlfriend chose me over him because of the personality that I have and she admited that she has a crush on me even before met each other during the elections.lol We've been together for almost three years and we are very happy together. That's how we meet. Nice discussion! Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

I met my husband through a friend. She was actually very interested in him so she invited him to come for supper and she invited me also so I could meet him. I hated him right from the start. He was more than obvious interested in me but I flat out told him after he came to my place three or four times I told him to hit the dusty. I never did let him in and he finally gave up. Then one time I was at a CB rally and a good friend of mine introduced us and I said, "Don't bother we've met" so as the banquet went on and the dance started, he asked me why I didn't like him. I told him all the reasons and to my surprize he changed them all and after a year or so I finally went out with him and after about three years we married. Hope things work out for you my friend.

My husband & I met online! It wasn't through a dating site or anything like that. It was through a money making site but not quite like this one. We were both members of another site (can't remember which) and I e-mailed him with a question & the rest is history! :) That was in 2001. It was very long distance for a few years though. He lived in Jordan and I lived in the U.S. We've been married now for almost 5 years.

I've met my partner at work. We are on the same training team but it lasted only for a week. We were assigned to different teams but mine was dissolved after several months and I've been transfer to them. He courted me and always sat beside me that time and assisted me in work.

I met mine in a nightclub, I saw him a few times before we actually got together but the first time I saw him I thought he was gorgeous! I was nearly put off when I found out he was 5 years younger than me but in the end it was not a problem.

I seldom go to bar or lounge or pub ,so little chance for me to meet someone special in these places. But I really have a romantic story.I meet my boy friend on the train. We are from the same place and have the same destination.I sit in the oppsite of him and we talk a few on the train. After getting the destination we left mobile phone number to each other. We send messages and call each other sometimes and know more about each other gradually.Finnaly,he told me that he loves me and want me to be his girl friend. Now it's two years since we meet each other.Haha,I always think this is quite romantic.Hope everyone have a special experience to know you Mr.Right.

I've met my partner-in-life through an exclusive website.. i won't mention the name of the site anymore.. i sent him a personal message, saying "hi, how are you doing"? I didn't expect that he'll answer back because there were prettier girls who are going gaga over him.. he said" hi, i'm doing good".. after three days, he asked for my mobile phone number and i gave it right away because i really like him so so much!!! we became text mates, he calls me every night then after a week or two, we've decided to meet up somewhere near my place.. after dating for a week, we became an official couple..=) I feel so blessed for having such a wonderful hubby like him.. i couldn't ask for more..

I met mine through mutual friends while I was at work. We were married 20 years, but divorced quite a few years ago. I think a bar is probably the worst place to meet somebody. Everybody is drinking, and who knows, they might be somebody who only stops in once in a blue moon, or they could turn out to be a daily 'regular.' Hehehe, maybe next time my washing machine breaks I should just head for the laundromat instead of rushing out to buy a new one?! Glad to hear that you and hubby might eventually get back together.

Haha, You might you never know. How are you. I think that is the worst place to meet a Man too, but some people does fine with it, I know the first person that came to my post said she had met her Husbsnd and the Bar, and they are doing good and has been married for 5 years. So sometime I quess it does work. if they have a drinking problem though it is not going to work with people that meet at a Bar or Pub.

You can ind romance in the oddest places. Like laundromats. That's oddly romantic. 0-0 I met my love in pre-school. I was smitten (Or at least determined to be friends) after he saved me when we were playing 'hot lava'.
