I was reading the newspaper a day or two ago and stumbled across an article. Apparently Dr. Phil make some deals with an institution and earned the "Octomom" free nurses for her 8 octuplets and 6 older children. I have educated myself on the process of in vitro, the costs, benefits, risks, and personally I think that it was her (irresponsible) decision to use in vitro to have the octuplets and should not have free nurses. This may just be me, so i wanna know what you people think.

I have to say I agree 100%. She made a bad choice in doing that. She does not deserve any special treatment. Had she not made a bad choice there would not be a need for free nurses. I have 2 children and they keep me running does that mean I deserve a free nurse too? The fact is she should have spent her money on providing care for the 6 she already had.

I understand that In Vitro is sometimes a last option for some couples and they need to risk having multiple children. However, she already had 6 successful children and did not need any more. Plus we are in a recession and risking that many children and not giving any up can become very costly, and it seems to me that she should lose privileges if anything.
