What is your birth stone? Did you end up buying it a lot? Do you wear your birth stone everyday? Do you think that wearing your birth stone daily improves your life? We have this belief in India. My birth stone is Pearl. I have two pearl chains. I had a silver ring with pearl which I used to wear daily, but I missed it somehow.

My birth month is September and my birth stone is Sapphire. I bought a jewelry set with blue sapphires but I only wear during formal occasions. They say that if you wear your birth stone, it could somehow have a positive effect in your life. May be it is true, but I believe that our actions define what happens to our life.

I was born in October and my stone is Opal - my mother keeps our birthstones (she bought one for each of us when we were born). I just find it strange that mine is white, but when I see the earrings with supposedly birth stones, it's usually white. Thanks for the response on my discussion!
