I love cooking more however I want to enhance my skills and learn baking. I want breads and cakes and I always dream of decorating/baking my own cakes. I want also to learn how to do cookies and short bread. I am saving to buy for an oven and a hand mixer to support my will to learn to bake. I am planning also to enroll in a baking class soon.

I prefer baking. I've never eaten a bakery cake that was as good as a good homemade one. I like to bake breads of all kinds, though, rather than sweets.

If I had to choose between cooking or baking, I would likely choose baking. There are a lot of dishes that I rather bake in the over than cook stove top. Not all foods baked have to be a bakery item such as cakes, pies, cookies or other sweets. I prefer to bake my food because it is easy and is less clean up. Sometimes however, I like to use the stove to cook in ways that I can not achieve by using the over. This is not an easy decision but if I had to choose it would be baking hands down. I can not imagine living without a baked potato.

hi myhllim, my dear friend, i love cooking a lot and i think it is a very good time pass for me. i like baking too and certain things taste very good after baked, like i once read a recipe for Zuchini, and i baked it, it tasted really good. but i prefer cooking and i think it is very much true that good dishes are rarely found in shops but very tasty cake can be bought from a good bakery. i love cakes but i feel it is a very boring job to bake it at home , spo i prefer to order it from a nice bakery when i feel like eating.

I like doing both cooking and baking. But I do cook a whole lot more often than I bake. I guess that because most dishes I prepare calls for stove-top cooking rather than oven baking. But I dont limit myself to cooking. A tummy chicken pot pie is baked, and so is a family favorite, oatmeal crusted chicken. As for desserts, I bake cookies on holidays. I bake cake a couple of times a year. What I bake most of the time are muffins of different kinds and fruit pies. If I am to rate myself, I will say that I can cook better than I bake. Happy Mylotting!

hello, everyone! i like a lot cooking, not baking. when you bake something, it is the risk to burn the cake or the dish you are baking. if you cook some dish, you can watch all the way the progress of the dish. so, let's cook something, not baking.

Hi there! Well, I prefer cooking just because the equipments I need for cooking is readily available unlike the ones that I need for baking. I am not good in both but if I have to choose one, it will be cooking.
