Life Is No Longer Respected & Has No Value - The killings in schools is horrible and an example how life has no value anymore

Have you all been listening to the news..in Germany a x-student killed 10 people. It is horrible. We are in the end times where it was prophesied that the love for others and the value of life would mean nothing to people. I feel so terribly sad and it's hard to protect schools because you don't know when a person will strike, as they are like rats..a rat will sneak up on you without you even seeing it until it has taken a bite out of you. He was only 17 years old! What caused him to do that! Someone is responsible for him to do such an action and usually it begins at home.

hello dancingredfeather that is so sad to hear about. i had to work today so i haven't had a chance to see any local news on television yet this afternoon. and where that my two sons both go to school, when all of the busses and car riders have arrived at school, all of the school doors are locked, and one has to ring a buzzer to get into the front door of their schools. and i hear ya about what causes somebody to go on a shooting rampage like that. it does have to start somewhere and i pray to God that none of my sons ever kills anybody like that, where that they would want to go on a shooting spree. thanks so much for sharing that news with us all around here at Mylot. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

I guess that is really true. It is frightening that even at school we cannot find peace anymore.

Hi..DancingRedFeather1 Its really horrible and sad news.I think, if the shooter(X student) has any problem then, he can talk with his local govt.If he has any problem against the govt, or about him self, he can fight directly against the govt , why he killed the students. There is no reason.

That is where you are wrong. Try and see if you can talk against the gouvernement where it will bring you..nowhere. It isn't easy to do what you say..if you're own parents don't care about you..do you think the gouvernement will? Absolutely not! I challange you to try and see if the gouvernment will listen to you..find something you don't like and then see where it gets you..nowhere..trust me. You will get a nice letter, which was already written in advance, thank you for your concern..and you think that the minister even read it..no way.! It isn't as simple as you say. First find out his life..then you can say something. You can't say what a person should have done when you don't know anything about his life.

Hi DancingRedFeather. That is so tragic. I also feel sad about it. I'm so sorry for those innocent kids..it is a terrible way to die and they are so young. I can't help but worry about school safety everytime I hear news like this. School authorities should have a tighter security system. I agree with what the others said, bullying is one of the factors why these things are happening...and you are so right in saying that these problems begin at home. Let's just hope nothing like this happens again. God bless!

that is true!! these days there are no guarantees of safety, anywhere and everywhere you go there's a possibility that something like that will just happen to strike out. anyway maybe what caused him to do that is a horrible experience from his own past, or maybe his uprbringing. if it's not an environmental factor maybe he's just born with a personality disorder. i'd pity him if that's the case.

Parents are mostly to blame, if you notice these kids who do that are..friendless, introverts, alone, etc because the parents don't look out for them. Just leave them alone in their rooms, or to busy with their own lives to notice that their kid is suffering. Kids need love, attention, just like you care for an animal moreso you should your kid. Trust me my boys gave me a hard time and was I tough on them but they thank me today. They said boy did we ever hate you at times because we didn't understand but one day..the light lite up and we are grateful you were tough. Kids become what you instill in them..even as adults I still had my word to say. My son is 45 and still calls mes to ask advice & am still tough on him hahaha.

There was no immediate indication of motive, but the gunman's victims were primarily female: eight of nine students killed were girls, and all three teachers were women. Three men were killed later as the suspect fled. He had claimed fellow students at the high school had mocked him and teachers there ignored him. I feel, in a way, the society also becomes responsible for pushing these youngsters to do such an act

it is frustrating and probably its because there were only women present if there had been men he would have killed them too.
