Why people fight over a religion?

Why is it that people fight over their religion.? They are not united even if they knew that the one they are all believing was all the same. He just have different names but he is always the same person we all believe. I just hope that war between religion ends. Maybe its because of our different beliefs and some are just because of those histories that came from our ancestors.

yeah i agree. The different relgions have occured because people powerful at the time have picked and choosed which things they like in the bible. Wasn't it henry the 8th who started the church of england just because his current religion didn't agree with divorce, says it all really. The wars occuring because of religion is so stupid, i'm sure in the christian bible its says the same thing in other types of bibles about how everyone is equal and treat others the way you would want to be treated so people can't say they follow a religion and not act on it
