I have five children. My oldest is 21years old and my youngest is 15 years old.So my wife and I have just about got ours raised. The house just keeps getting quieter and quieter. I am not real sure what we will do when they are all moved out. any way my question is if you could go back before you had children would you do it again? I have to say I would and probably have more.

I think that it is great you would probably have more. I have one son he is almost three and yes i want more, four total plus my sons two half sisters. Don't worry once they all move out, you and your wife will have peace and quiet, but only for a short while, you say your olderst in 21, well who knows, by the time your youngest turns 18 and moves out, your oldest may have a family of his/her own, or soon after, or it could be a while. What I am saying is it will not stay quiet for long, before you know it your home will be flooded with your five childrens, children, it will be load, crazy and fun all at once. Good luck to you and your wife. :)

Well my oldest is a girl. She said she was waiting till she got out of school to have kids.but My oldest boy is 20 and has a one year old son and another on the way.Looks to me like he is going to fill the house before anyone else has a chance.

ha ha, well i guess your house will never have the chance to be quiet, kids and grandkids is the best way to fill a home.

Of course I'd do it again! I raised four...my youngest is 18 and just moved out a couple of months ago. It takes some getting used to when you have the house all to yourself but, don't worry, because it won't be quiet for long. Between my husband (who has two kids) and me we have 9 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren and our house can get filled up quick...even with some of them living in another state! Grandchildren are much more fun than your children were because you're not the parent so you can be bad. You can give them cookies and lots of hugs...be the fun person to be around and the one who gets all the giggles and hugs. It's great.

I definitely would do it again. Although if i could do it again I might wait a little bit longer. We got pregnant 6 months after we got married. So we didn't get a whole lot of couple time before we were family time. We have 3 kids they are 6, 4 and 19 months. I probably will wish we had more too, but we stopped because we didn't want to struggle with money any more than we already were.
