Do you write for Helium? Did you get paid this month?

You should go for Paypal transaction. I don't write for Helium but one of my friend has got payment from them. The payment is made on 10th but you should ask for it before the 4th of month. Helium is a legit site and they pay, rest assured you will get your check.

I requested my payment on the 1st of the month, and do get it via PayPal...so that's why I am wondering what happened?

There is a post on the message boards explaining that there is a delay in payments this month. We will all get paid on the 12th (today) rather than the 10th as usual.
Helium always pays, every month. If the 10th falls on a weekend it can be Monday before payments are made, so allowing a couple of extra days is not ususual.

Thanks! I did receive payment today. I obviously don't follow any message boards (maybe I should start!), although I did email the site yesterday, and received a response this morning as well. I was happy to see it was just a delay. I didn't know they ever did this because I have always received prompt payments.
It's just nerves and the economy. I have been screwed over online before, and with the economy in a shambles, I worry that more online sites may go out of business. Luckily everything is fine at Helium.

Well, Helium did lay off some of it's site in Nov/Dec last year, but they also introduced the Writers Stimulus Package at the same time. If they go by this trend, they'll be laying off their staff beofre they touch writers

Yeah I write for Helium too and this is the first time I am waiting for my payment from them.I too was somewhat scared before Janice announced that the payment date is postponed.You can check the discussion here

Thanks! I just got it this morning. I was surprised because it's never been late before. I did email Helium yesterday, and also received a response from them, which I appreciated. Looks like it's all good. Whew!

That's what I was worried about. I like writing for Helium, and have started getting into a real groove with the site. I didn't want to put in a lot of work and not get paid because I have experienced this before with other sites online. And with the economy so shaky, it made me worried.
I am happy to say that it all seems fine...they were just a few days late in getting the payments out. It's just unusual for them.

I am brand new to Helium and still figuring this stuff out. Have you ever had trouble with your payments from the site before this? Do you always have to request your payment from them?
