How can you kill....

i am never bored. i do a ton of arts and crafts, work outside of the house, mylot, write a blog, i have a family and a house to look after and if i have spare time on my hands i love to read! if you are bored, get a hobby!

lol when I saw your post I thought you were asking of the methods to kill hehe. The way I deal with boredom is by going out with my friends, play some sport, watch the telly, read a book, listen to music, work out, day dream lol, or cook something. And ofcourse I also mylot at such times.

The only time I get bored is when I'm too tired to do anything and don't want to lie down and sleep. I have many hobbies and projects, so I just do one of them. I knit, read, watch TV, write, sew, experiment with various things, bake bread, learn something new... there's always something to fill time. If you find yourself with too much empty time on your hands, take up a hobby.

I think there are many things you can do when you have spare time. I think that you can read or play on your cellphone. You can do alot of things when you have spare time. You can also watch TV or write a letter, but my favorite thing to do when I have sparetime is to play on my laptop. I like to talk on my lot or on other websites when I have an opportunity to do so.

OH my goodness... are you serious? If I only had some free time... as I speak (type) I am accomplishing no less than 5 other tasks simultaneously... yup I'm a Mom. Free time for me must be found... not endured. Now, if I had extra free time... I'd read the classics, Help teach an elementary/preschool class... kids are so cool! I'd volunteer at the local food shelf or the second hand shop (Saint Vincent's or such). Have a fund raiser for your favorite charity... sell some of your junk at a garage sale and donate the proceeds or such. cook meals for a new mom. do an unsolicited good deed for a friend or a stranger. go for a walk and breathe (yeah, I'm easily amused... it's a blessing ;-) on that walk, smile at everybody... you could be the ONLY person to smile at that person today. boredom? what's that? There are soooo many people who need your help. How could anyone be bored?

When i have a ton of leftover time, I make an attempt to work up the motivation to study for my upcoming exams, but since they are still too far away to "cram". therefore I usually pass the time doing something inriching, yet somewhat interesting, such as reading.

I feel like I have so much to do in life I dont really have a lot of time to get bored. I take walks when I can and read when I get a chance.

When I"m not working or networking, I relax by watching a good DVD and crocheting hundreds of silly little squares. Those little squares get stitched together and turned into pet blankets. My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was a child. I donate each blanket to one of the three animal rescue shelters in my city. Doing this stops my boredom - after all I can't go out and party hard because I usually have a 4 year old daughter asleep in the next room.
