All Night Long

Back when I was driving eighteen wheeler There were many all night and all day and all night again without sleep.the longest I ever went without sleep was 36 hours without ant kind of medicated help. What is the longest you have went with out sleep with no help?

The longest I went without sleep was probably around 36 hours. I do have to ask, since you said that was when you were driving an 18-wheeler........did you also have two log books, when with your actual driving time and one with the 'legal' driving time? Or was this before any of those laws? Just wondering, seems to me it's dangerous enough to be driving a passenger vehicle after many hours of no sleep, let alone a big rig.

Well there have always been log books for as long as i can remember.but there has always been ways around log books. you are right it was dangerous but I was young and making a living for my family didn't think about dangerous back then.Just had to get the load delivered so I could get payed.
