Art is something that can not be understand by all. On the one hand, we have half of the population of the earth planet, struggling to survive and on the other some art fricks are buying paintings and other stuffs worth millions of dollars. The artist are really great people with gifted mind, don't you think that they should apply their energy to solve the real world problem?

I do think we need art in our lives as well, there are so many talented people that it is great that they can show and get paid for there work the same as any other job ,just like golfers ,football players, ball players, hockey players and so on we need these in our lives too. Some are a bit over paid I agree.

no, i think it's only fair and appropriate for art to have its own place in our lives or in this world we live in. I'm not saying that it's OKAY to devote all your time doing art though, as I've said, art has its own place and so are other things in life, and it would responsible if we weigh down out priorities and put down the less important ones. but that also depends upon the person. we all have the right to love what we love, right??? happy mylotting!
