I love Dr. Seuss and all of his books. One of my favorite books is Horton hears a Who.
It's the story of Horton the Elephant who discovers an entire town (Whoville) living in a speck of dust. He can hear and interact with the mayor of Who=ville. The problem lies in that no one else can see or hear them.
The kangaroo and the monkeys are determined to make Horton stop talking to what they think is himself. Horton is just as determined to protect the Who's no matter what.
I know that they made this awesome book into a movie and was wondering if you had seen it? What did you think?

I too love Dr. Seuss books! I used to have a huge collection when I was a kid. I really enjoyed Horton Hears a Who, both the book and the movie. I think the movie was great. Jim Carrey and Steve Carell were great voice actors in the movie. I really liked the message which lies behind the story.

My youngest daughter is an Elementary Education major. We are looking for childrens literature books as we go to yard sales and second hand book stores so that when she graduates, her bookshelves in her classroom will be full! We're looking for all the Dr. Seuss books, as well as the Berenstien Bears and things like "The Pokey Little Puppy" and "Good Night Moon"
