How do we search the image gallery at Mylot?

Mylot must have a vast database of images by now because they are being uploaded 24 hours per day. We can view the images that we uploaded or the images uploaded by everyone, but there does not appear to be a search feature. Using the search at the top simply searches for discussions.
It is possible to view earlier images by choosing another page, but at the rate that images are arriving it would take hours to page forward to a picture uploaded yesterday.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

my suggestion is ,allow members to search for images uploaded by members via key in the categories of the images they want to view,afterall, all uploaded images are required to be tagged. so,wouldnt it be more user friendly if we could just search images via the categories ,such as food,scenery,cartoon,fruit,plant,animal,people and etc?
