Do any of you remember 10-15 years ago when John Tesh sat opposite Mary Hart on Entertainment Tonight? He left the magazine show to pursue his music full time. Yesterday, at a thrift store, I found a CD that he put out called "Live at Red Rock". Just curious if any of you had heard this cd and if so what you thought. Or, if you have heard any of his music.

I think they aired the concert on PBS and I was disappointed I didn't see it!

I was looking at the video on ebay and half.com this afternoon trying to decide if it was something I wanted to invest in. I do think when I get paid next week I'm going to invest in the "Worship at Red Rocks" DVD. It's John Tesh, but it's all contemporary Christian Music.

There are several scenes from the concert on Youtube, including "Take a look at me now" which was originally recorded by Phil Collins. The video has a fantastic saxophone solo along with John Tesh's phenomenal piano runs and trills. It is beautiful and brings tears to my eyes when I listen. I guess I'm just a sap! LOL

I remember John Tesh he has a radio show every sunday on one of our stations I can't remember which one but it's a lot like the Dik (mylot wouldn't let me spell it the right way) Clark one that plays every weekend. Every once in awhile I will see him on VH1 doing some show about the old days.

Gotta love it when you can't even spell someone's name right? He does have a radio show, though I haven't found it around here anymore. It used to be on one of the Little Rock Stations, but they're doing something a bit different with a local DJ and Contemporary Praise and Worship. (which is also pretty cool)

I remember when he left. Back then Entertainment Tonight wasn't nearly as "tablodish" as it is now. It's hard to remember back that far. I really liked him. And I thought his actress wife, Connie Selleca was so pretty. I've heard some of his music, and he's good.

I didn't realize until I went and found his biography that he'd be gone from ET for almost 13 years! (left in 1996) He's got a radio show, that I listened to for awhile, but it's no longer carried here, and I've seen him on one of the talk shows on the Daystar Television Network occasionally. I love to hear him play the piano! I could listen for hours and never tire. I want the Worship at Red Rocks cd if I can find it.

I do remember that guy, but I don't think I've heard any of his songs. He was featured on one of those "I Love the '90s" episodes on VH1. I think they said he had some really funny names for songs or something.

I don't know of any funny names. I'm' lookin at the discography list for Live at Red Rocks. Some of the songs that are on here are "Against All Odds", "Thousand Summers", "Key of Love" "Fields of Gold" I love to put this in the CD player and crank it up while I'm driving to school! The great songs to jam with are the ones with lots of percussion!

Yes I do remember this. That brings back memories. I always thought that he was very good at hosting the show. I have heard him play a lot of his music. Wasn't he married to someone famous? Why can't I remember. His music reminds me a bit of Yanni! I have not heard that CD but I wonder if you can give it a sample listening on Amazon.com. Hmmmmmmmm how long ago was he on Entertainment Tonight?

He is married to Connie Seleca and has been for several years. Yes, his music also reminds me of Yanni, though he is much easier on the eyes than Yanni! LOL I'm not sure if he's on Amazon or not. It would be a worth a shot to listen and see. According to his Bio he was on Entertainment Tonight for 10 years.

Most of his music is instrumental. He plays the piano beautifully, and also has a decent singing voice. But, his concerts are accompanied by a full orchestral band. It's just awesome to listen to. His song list was very diversified as well, some older classical pieces mixed in with some lighter pop music.
