Have you ever tried detoxing your body?

I've heard a lot about different ways of detoxing your body? Has anyone tried it? I want to hear success stories or failed attempts. Also, tell me how you did it? There are so many systems out there, I am curious what works. I'm also curious why you decided to detox and who you talked to about it? This winter I've been very stagnant and lazy and now that it's getting warm I am becoming more active and starting to feel better but I've had this underlying feeling of sluggishness that i can't seem to shake. I don't know for sure, but I feel like maybe detoxing would help. Thoughts?

I've tried it but not to the extreme :] I drank 2-3 litres of water a day, ate fruit as snacks, added more excercise to my daily routine like walking to my college insted of using the bus and had almost no unhealthy foods for just over week~ It cleared my skin and made me feel so much better! It showed me just how important it is to eat properly and also to eat the right ammount. I did it for the same reason, i felt sluggish so every now and then i try it again.

Thanks for the response! I definitely need to drink more water every day...and I've been trying to eat healthier also. I work at an organic market, so I have that going for me...but I don't eat the proper variety of foods. I tend to eat too much starch and cheese...hehe. Thanks again for your input! I will have to do some more investigation!
