Do men recover from a break up faster than women?

ok so i am generalizing here but it seemed to me that men do get over their ex quicker....that once she is replaced she is forgotten...whereas women cry into their pillow for months on end...it also seems that men generally tend to go out and have one night stands and get off with other women to get over an ex whereas women tend to wallow on their own self pity, boring their friends to tears with questions and getting drunk and crying etc... i admit i agreed with that.

well you know what they say the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else....lol..ok that was a complete joke...
but there is some truth to it, I think men tend to fix their pride, and prove to themselves that they are ok...
Women are more emotional, and tend to blame themselves for things. And they spend a lot of time, wondering why and what they couldve done.
Where as men, try to hide their emotions and move on to try to show everyone and prove to themselves they are ok..
Those are just my opinions...but it seems to make sense...

Yes you are absolutely right, men tends to think a lot about their pride and ego whereas women tends to think more about their relationship as compared to pride and ego.

i think guys tend to hide that they arent over the girls so it seems they are over them quicker

Both of us have same heart, so i feel it all depends on the depth of the wound, accordingly we tend to recover faster or slower, yes women are quite emotional so they express it that way, men are emotional too but many of them dont show it out for fear of losing their masculinity, otherwise, there is no difference

i think its not easy to men to forget it too,except he is a player..maybe they didnt like woman that show their feeling..but they still hurt too...they keep it only in his mind..some of them to be shy if they seem weak in front of others...so they need quiet place to fresh his mind
