I am so proud of myself! I finally got it finished and by myself!

I have been needing to get PayPal buttons on my website for awhile now and my sister was supposed to be doing it, but she never got around to it. I got tired of not having them on there and I did it myself. You can check it out if you want. It still needs more work, but the buttons are there. The link is in my profile. Do you ever get tired of waiting for someone to do something for you, so you figure it out on your own?

Hey I checked out your site I was amazed! Just shows how far behind I am. I remember when you were making it for the local garage now youare shipping it too - great work! Yes I am waiting for someone to come and fix my computer fan for about three weeks now. First one was coming then another - maybe they will both turn up on the same day that I decide to do it myself!

Yeah, I have been shipping it for awhile. Some months are better than others. I made about $1000 in December, but not nearly that much in January or February.

Website stuff is not something I'm afraid to do. I used to create websites all the time when I owned a Pogo League. I created tournament templates and league pages all the time. I tried to earn a little money for it on the side, but it wasn't all that lucrative. I also helped a friend of mine create a website to sell her jewelry, and another friend a website to sell her candles. I did check out your website the other day... before you put up the Paypal buttons of course. I was thinking maybe I could try something similar. So I created a cookie website. It's nothing spectacular at the moment as I'm using Bravenet for my website... and I've yet to figure out how to find customers... and not even sure cookies will be all that popular anyways! But anything is worth a shot, right? Got any tips or ideas for me, or just your thoughts?

What is the site? I would like to check it out. I would suggest once you get everything on there that you want on there to order some business cards from Vista Print. All you have to do is pay the shipping for the basic cards. I would stick them on boards at grocery stores and gas stations or where ever you can think to stick them. Maybe a flyer or two at a gas station too.

I'm thinking of that, but problem is I need my own domain name. Right now because of the site I'm using, it's too long and complicated. www.katscookies.bravehost.com. I need to find a site to shorten it to just the name of the site, you know.

You're smarter than I. I would know idea how to go about doing that. But yes, I've gotten tired of waiting for someone else to do something they said they would, then they never got around to it. I finally get so exasperated I do it myself. And by the way, I am still not getting your e-mail notifications. Yours or LittleMel's.

You are one of at least 5 people that I know are not getting them. It is rather annoying.

Yeah it happens a lot with my hubby and when I need him to fix something on the computer or with our online pictures. Sometimes he does it on purpose so that I have to figure it out on my own. It's actually rewarding when I do figure it out.

Well, I have been on situations like that. There are instances that I keep on waiting with no results so instead of waiting, I do it mysefly. There are also instances that I just do it right away most especially that I know that the outcome would not be the way I want it to be.

Yes, I sometimes get tired of my son not doing things as quickly as I would like. I mena, he lives with me as his wife is in Dubai and I feel he could do more in the garden. anyway, congratulations on achieving it by yourself. I still have mnot yet worked out Paypal and my little sum of money from Mylot is increasing by cents daily. One day, when I feel strong, I will tackle it.

The PayPal thing is not that difficult as long as it is available in Jamaica. I am glad I stopped waiting around for her to do it and just did it myself.

Yea, my brother does this too me every once in a while. The times that frustrate me the most are the ones he voluteers for without me actually asking for help. Like this year and my income taxes. I said how I was having issues doing my taxes this year and I just needed to sit down and finish. He responds, "I can do them, no problem." "Are you sure, I can do them, I just have to set aside the time." "I have plenty of time and yours won't be that hard," he tells me. 3 weeks later I ask him if he's gonna do them..., "Oh yeah, I did say I was going to do those didn't I?"
