How fast do you finish a roll toilet paper or a box tissue?

I always have a running nose and it is a little allergic sometimes, I need tissue paper all the time in my pocket. And I do put couple boxes tissue on the couch and cabinet so I can just pull one when I'm in need. I drink a lot of liquid everyday so I need to go washroom a lot so it makes the toilet paper use very fast. And the other thing is my paper towel go away very quick too because my puppy sometimes pee on the floor so I use paper towel to wipe it off. So I spend quite frequently on buying them. Are you a crazy tissue person? :-p

I don't use too much tissue for my nose...but it seems to be increasing with the advent of spring. I can't put the tissue out on the couch or table as I have a cat that must have been a CIA agent previous to becoming a cat! No box, envelope, bag, roll of toilet paper or paper towels is safe from "Agent Khauy" and his searching for microfilm, microphones and stolen blue prints. (He reminds me of Perry the Platypus from Phinias and Ferb on the Disney channel!) Being alone, I use a roll of toilet paper a week and a box of tissue lasts about a month. When my daughter and clan were staying with me I was going through a nine pack of toilet paper a week (it was five extra people). I use Scott 1000 sheet rolls of TP, but use a better grad of tissue for my nose. I also found a wonderful brand of paper towels at Wal Mart that is Oasis. It is similar to Bounty select a size, but I feel it is better quality and is substantially cheaper than the Bounty. I have four dogs and four cats that I keep up with, but it is surprising how long the roll of paper towels last. I do do most of the dog pee mopping with newspaper and save the paper towels for the final mop up. It saves on the cost of paper towels as the newspaper is free in a way. I do grab a lot of the free papers from the news stand so that I do have free "towels" for the animals. I use them in the crates, mopping up pee and picking up poopies.

Thanks for sharing! :-) I bought some kleenex tissue boxes yesterday, it said it has lotion in here and it is wonderful, very soft, very strong layer quality.

I'll have to try the kleenex! I got home from class tonight and "Agent Khuay" struck again! I had about 10 sheets of paper towels left on the roll...and the kitchen looked like I had a huge snowfall!!! I bet he'd love the new kleenex too!! Oh, by the way, Khuay is the cat in my avatar...he can be such a sweet heart and such a terror at the same time.

I just bought a 6 pack of tissues and I sent 3 to school with my daughter and 2 with my son, obviously leaving us with 1 here....that was about a month ago and its still pretty full. The kids have a tendancy to grab them to wipe the babys nose if they see it needs it. We dont usually have tissue in the house...hubby requested it a few weeks ago when he was sick. Toilet paper...thats a whole nother story....There are 6 of us in this house, 5 that use toilet paper and we go thru about a roll every day, day and 1/2. I actually need to go pick some up sometime tonight.

I always use water instead of toilet paper. So tissue paper in toilet is not working in our office and house, We always use water in toilet and clean bumps and hands.

But you don't need tissue or toilet paper to wipe off wet hands?

I also have allergies, and how often I go through tissues depends on a lot on the season! Right now my allergies aren't bothering me, so I hardly use any tissues at all. But pretty soon it will start to be pollen season, and I'll start going through tissues like crazy! I use a lot of paper towels too. I use one sheet with every meal I eat. And I do a lot of baking, so I go through a lot of paper towels cleaning the kitchen. I mostly use a regular towel for cleaning the kitchen, but if I have to wipe up flour or powdered sugar or something, then I find a papertowel works much better. And I have a pet mouse, so I shred up paper towels to give to him for nesting. Plus I use papertowels to clean his cage. I definitely buy my tissues and papertowels in bulk from a wholesale membership club!

Oh yea you remind me, I use a lot when I'm cooking and baking too, very convenient. And I think the price of tissue and toilet paper, paper towel is getting bery expensive... but sadly it is a must to me... just like girls' pad :-\

I usually end up using toilet paper the fastest, but my fiance and I share a bathroom so we use quite a bit together. Our box of tissues in our room gets used up quite a bit when it's cold or allergy season.

Well, let me talk about the toilet paper situation of our bathroom. I got a feeling I am the only one using it. I'm the only woman in the household right now and I guess the boys don't use them. I think they clean themselves off with water after poop. And well guys don't need to wipe theirs after peeing. So I guess one roll could reach two weeks. we barely use tissue paper for anything else other than the bathroom. We have washcloths and floor wipes so no, we don't run out of them fast.

I'm the one to use toilet paper because guys don't wipe after peeing like you said and I use it very quick, one rollmost likely last only a week... :-p
