Looking for friends on Facebook

Hello, fellow mylotters. I am a member of Facebook who is looking to make friends a there. I am a conservative-right wing and Christian....my interests including: reading, international culture, helping less fortunate children, supporting the troops, spa moments, cooking/baking, big bookstores, libraries, art and politics.

I've had people telling me I need to join Facebook. I trust your judgment, so what do you think of it? Is it fun, and do you have to put a whole lot of work in it? I'd like to join, but if it is anything like MySpace I'd rather not. I didn't like MySpace at all.

Hi Amber,
There is a big difference between MySpace and Facebook. Myspace seems to all so much more raunchy behavior. I don't seem to see that on Facebook. If I would compare the two, I would say Myspace is a like a heathen bar and while Facebook is more like a neighborhood block party. Myspace has some creative elements to it but the people drag it through the mud with that behavior. Face book is getting a little bit more creative. Facebook is easy...but if you have problems, I can always help you. Please join!!!!!!
