people to look up to??

Do you have someone in your life that you look up to??... that you wish you were more like, or are trying to please? I of course always try to please my mom, help out but she really helps me more in the long run with our financial situation at the moment, and my Mother in law is a big help right now too... I really appreciate the help and consider the fact they purchase things for there grand children to help us out ... do you have someone in your life that you appreciate or look up to?

I really admire his Holiness the Dali Lama. When he was up here in Rochester MN speaking for the hospital staff I got a kick out of him saying that he still sometimes gets angry with his students. I felt as if I wasn't alone in the fact that even an enlightened master gets angry. He also said that he didn't consider himself enlightened. Namaste-Anora

I am in C00n Rapids MN. I saw him on the news from his Visit. The PBS station from St. Cloud had an hour show about this visit. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I appreciate anyone and everyone who helps me out - and I mean everyone. I appreciate my mom, dad, brothers and sisters, friends, and even people who give me advice here on mylot.

Since I got clean and sober nearly 18 years ago I look up to my Higher Power. He gives me support and strength to make it through each day clean and sober. He is the only one I look up to in my life. Without him and his support I would not be alive today. I also appreciate all the friends/family that I have from A.A. meetings all over the USA and online A.A. rooms etc. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~
