St. Patrick day?

17th march is St. Patrick Day. All i know is christian nuns used to come to school and would ask for donation to church. What is this day and why is it celebrated?

Take a look on the internet you will find out all about him. He is an Irish saint and right now i don't think the church is recognizing him as a saint any more, but the people still do. Because he's Irish we celebrate all things Irish, Green for their country and an Irish meal for good luck. Enjoy
