omg, mage in f2p is extremely expensive to train. if i cast a fire blast, every 1 cast costs me at least 400 gold! do u people know the best way to train mage while still training hp for a low cost? i can handle a loss of 10-20k but not more than 20k unless it's close to 20k ie 25k

play that mini-game where u face a single opponent and try to survive against them and collect charges or whatever. it is located just north of varrock in the wilderness area. i cant remember the name of the game... well basically when u enter the arena, you are given with free runes, lots of them so that u can cast spells using those free runes instead of the normal runes. they only stay in your inventory as long as you are playing that game. but that is the best place to raise your magic FOR FREE. so just keep playing this game over and over again. plus u gain tokens if u win at the game which u can exchange for rewards.

This minigame is called fist of guthix. It is the best magic training for free players. You will get only half of xp but for free. There are really good rewards for this, you gain tokens and buy gauntlets and armors.

yeah good job, that's the game i was talking about. didn't know that only half the xp was awarded but still that is a good amount, keeping in mind that you are gaining it for free.

In f2p they kinda have you over a barrel for magic. To do it cheaply your going to have to make your own runes meaning you only get the lowest level spells. On the plus side perhaps you can safe spot some critters with those low level spells. It would be slow but cheap.

if your woodcutting lvl are over 60 you can cut yews, and sell them for about 430gp each at the moment, so if you cut 1k yews, you will get 430000gp which you can buy runes for. Thats what i do.
