Some people think that having no job and staying at home is stress-free. But noooo, having to discipline a toddler, keeping the house in order, naking sure that everything is in order when hubby comes home, whew!!! And to make things worse, the kiddo is having some tantrums because of the other kids in the house , waaaah. It makes me wanna shout. Sometimes I feel like I wanna shout (not angrily though) just shout to release the tension but other people might think I've a loose screw in the head. Will shouting really help me? I'm so burned-out I need a break.

It is better to break something to relieve stress instead shouting madly. Shouting will never free your stress.

i think if you gave it ago, shouting may help... taking a break, i know its hard to find the time to have a break, even if its sitting on the loo or in bathroom somewhere and just get chance to breathe and not think about anything... even trying to talk to your hubby about what making you feel stressed will even relieve it a bit... (even ask for a hug or a massage) some people say at night they lay and listen to music or even in morning, way before everyone gets up

Shouting for me helps in releasing stress from work or at home. What I do is lock myself in my room, place a pillow on my face and I scream as loud as I can. After 2-4 screams, I would write in my journal all the things I am screaming about and why. It helps me a lot. I'm not sure with you. You can try it and then tell us how it makes you feel. :) I understand how it feels like having to stay home and handle everything at home... it's stressful indeed. I hope you can release that tension soon... :)

I'll try but I'll have to tell my hubby why I will be shouting so that he will understand me that I'm not angry or complaining it's just that I'm so stressed out. Thanks for your response.

It does help to loosen up yourself to shout on the top of your lungs. It would greatly relieve the stress and tension that you are feeling. It is just like that you have let out all the frustrations you have building inside you and this can be very healthy. Well that would be the problem for others may think that you are out of your mind for shouting but you can do it somewhere wherein there are a few people around just to relieve yourself. i feel like shouting too now.

Surly it does, especially for man! You can shout near the sea or in the wild forest!

Once in a while, I will go out in the back yard and just scream to scream. I think that it really does help to relieve stress once in a while.

I can understand the effort you have to do as a house wife.Instead of finding a better place and time for shouting, you shall switch on your music player with high sound and listen to a fast number, singing with it and even dance to it,if you feel okay.Singing and dancing are great relievers of stress.Try it and mark the difference.Cheers!

Shouting can relieve your stress but if you're embarrass to do it, i'll give you a tip. Smile and walk just for 10 minutes and your stress will be relieve. It's difficult at first but once you try it, it will work.

when i am in bad mood,i need shop what i want to release myself.i will choose big city as my shopping place.maybe i will buy some rare fruits or snacks, maybe some fashion clothes or shoes. but i think the best way to release myself is travelling. i have look forward to a good trip for a while, but i don't have enough money for it.once i have a chance and save enough money,i will go to huangzhou city.
