I'll give my vote to Demian Maia. This guy currently hold a perfect 10-0 professional record with 8 submission wins, 5 of those are in UFC and 4 of won him the Submission of the Night Award. Although most of the people would vote for Nogueira or Mir in this one, I chose Maia, because of his pure Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mastery. I mean, this guy really knows his martial art and you can see it in the way he threats his opponents with series of submission attempts. I mean not just one submission attempt but series of it. I'd also like the way he's learning his stand-up from Wanderlei Silva not to knock people out but to know the ins and outs of the stand-up game and take advantage of that knowledge to eventually put his opponents to the ground and submit thema afterwards. Somy fellow myLotters, I want to know your BJJ ace in current UFC roster.

I must say that Demian Maia has great talent but He will have a heck of a fight on his hand with silva for sure!I am very much into the UFC and The MMA world If silva comes full force it will be one heck of a fight to see! I can not say who would win at this point!

Yeah! I think so too. That will be a clash between fighter's with exactly opposite fighting discipline. Maia's chin though, was never been tested in all of his fights in UFC. And that doesn't matter because I don't think no "granite chin" can withstand Anderson Silva's strikes. That guy delivers strikes accurately fast and strong and will pick you apart. Maia needs to work on his stand-up game, not to have striking match with Silva, but to minimize Silva's effectiveness on his feet.

I agree 100%. Its Demian Maia. I mean this guy pulls guard just so they could be on the ground. Maia beat Gabriel Gonzaga on a BJJ tournament and Napao is a freaking Heavyweight! Frank Mir had a hard time with him on the ground and hes also a Heaviweight and a black belt same as Napao. Maia is gonna be tested though when he takes on Anderson Silva. Cabt wait to see that fight!

I'm glad someone goes with same opinion as mine. Maia is a real monster on the ground. But it seems that his toughest test will be no other than Anderson Silva. I can't wait to see Silva and Maia fight. If Silva gets through with Thales Leites, that means he might stand a chance against Maia's ground mastery. I just hope that Maia should give Michael Bisping a nice submission defeat first. I mean, that guy is so full of himself, I can't stand his cockiness. Maia needs to bring him back to "ground". Maia vs. Marquardt/Leites is a fight I've been looking forward too.
