Anyone using Stumbleupon to promote their blog?

Hi, I have just joined Stumbleupon that was recommended to me to promote my blog. I don't know how it works, is there somewhere I can put my blog link on? I am very new to blogging so I'm not sure how it all works. Can anyone help a beginner? Any advice on how to promote my blog on Stumbleupon?

I've been trying to join but they won't accept any of the passwords I want to use. They keep telling me they are woo weak. Did you have a problem doing this?

I can't remember as I joined a while ago. Have you tried using a password with letters and numbers as that might work:)

Well, you can install their toolbars and then Stumble your own blog with a few comments and tags. If you use correct tags and it will bring you traffic in very short period of time. (I got about 100 views of my blog after submitting it for an hour).
For more traffic from Stumble, you will have to develop your network there and stumble other websites and let others to thumbs your blog up. You can add a button in your blog so as to let others stumble your blog
